Sand, sun, water...mmmm. I can't help but feel nostalgic towards the beach. As a child my family frequented our lake house located in northern Minnesota. Us kids would splash in the water and jump off the raft for hours on end until the dinner bell would spoil our fun.
These memories surrounding the beach come to me every spring without fail! I'm sure you feel the same. I guess it's human nature to associate beach activity with summer weather. It's what we do this time of year!
This is why every Spring and Summer you can expect to see multiple trends revolving water. Check back to see where this trend trickles on. I will be adding to "Shore Breeze" over the next week or so. Remember to Follow the arrows down:)

WOMENSWEAR
This season water themes emerge in various styles ranging from the 1950's sailor look to artistic and sexy tropical prints.
If you need a sexy beach or pool side dress check out BCBG Max Azria's Spring and Summer dresses. These prints remind me of watercolor painting inspired by the sea.

Anthropologie Shares a romantic ocean story through their product and the art direction of their photographs. Note the vibrant colors on the dress are paired with light sheer fabric, much like a salt water fish.

You can find comfortable casual pieces at Forever 21 inspired by their "By The Sea" trend. Just skim for the racks for blues and whites- oh and cruise ship style outfits!

If you want to do the beach look but aren't into prints, ruffles and sheers, than this ombre T-shirt from Old Navy is great for everyday wear.

MENSWEAR
Tommy Hilfiger takes a traditional 1950's American look and blends it with the Shore trend using stripes, plaids, and nautical motifs in blue, white and red.

They offer a wide variety of tops for your island get away. I really like their color palette- they mix navy blue and white with aqua and beach like colors.

TWEEN
Justice takes their Spring 2009 line straight to the beach with bright colors, tie dye, exotic prints, ombre effects, sparkly accents and stripes.
